What Marty Believes:

What Makes Marty Different?

  • He is and will remain accessible to the public.

  • He has a Master’s in Social Work focusing on nonprofit management. This means that he is trained as a facilitator, to listen, to build coalitions, and to understand the issues affecting people.

  • His company has worked with more than 380 nonprofits in all aspects of the nonprofit sector. Through this work, he has directly influenced the strategic planning and activities of many local organizations that work with, and around the city, to accomplish their goals of making Denver a better place for our neighbors.

  • He has helped more than 15 Denver businesses start that have significantly impacted our communities. These businesses range from nonprofits serving our youth with autism to workforce development for the Latino community to helping with the creation of a BIPOC Nonprofit Development Center.  

  • He has extensive relationships with nonprofit partners and can bring together the crucial coalitions necessary to address many of our city’s significant issues.

  • He is an adjunct high school teacher (teaching entrepreneurship and life skills) and understands educational issues and the impacts of teaching through and after COVID firsthand.

  • He was born and raised in Denver and understands how the city has changed in the past four decades.
